Weekly Schedule

Our retreat is thoughtfully designed to provide a blend of structured painting time, flexibility for weather and spontaneity, and meaningful opportunities for connection and creative growth. Below is a typical weekly itinerary:

Sunday Evening: Welcome & Orientation

🕖 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
We kick off the week with a casual Meet & Greet in the studio. Get acquainted with fellow participants, set up your workspace, and discussing potential painting locations for the week.

Monday to Friday: Plein Air Painting

🕘 Meet at 9:00 AM daily in the studio

Each day begins with a group discussion to determine the painting location, based on weather and group consensus.

🎨 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM
We paint on location in stunning natural environments throughout the day.

• Please bring your own lunch and beverages, as we usually remain outdoors until mid-afternoon.

• Daily schedules are flexible and responsive to weather and group needs.

🖌️ Studio Access

• Some participants return to the studio in the afternoon for further painting or socializing.

• The studio is available for evening use, with coffee and tea provided throughout the day. Please be aware that often the studio is attached to bedrooms so we ask you respect quiet hours after 9pm.

Thursday Evening: Social Night

Join us for an informal gathering where we meet to chat about our paintings and the places we have seen. This relaxed evening is a highlight of the week—perfect for winding down and strengthening connections with fellow artists.

• Weather permitting, we gather by the firepit; otherwise, we enjoy the evening in the studio.

Friday Morning: Studio Wrap-Up

🕘 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
On our final day:

• Participants are welcome to enjoy a final painting session in the studio

• We hold an optional group sharing or informal critique

• We wrap up by breaking down the studio and assisting with clean-up
